Monday July 2, 2018, 07:30 – 19:00.
Want to experience time travel on a budget? With a day-long bus excursion, go back 65 million years and tour the K/T (Cretaceous/Tertiary) Boundary at Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park. Fast forward to the age of mammals and imagine expert native hunters guiding stampeding bison over the cliffs, thereby ensuring another successful year for their families on the untamed prairies. Later in the day, experience the history of our Earth and its life at the renowned Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology with its stunning collection of dinosaur fossils. We cap off our visit with a tour of the celebrated Trekcetera Museum and its treasure trove of artifacts from the Star Trek universe and other popular shows.
This full-day trip includes bus transportation, lunch and a detailed guidebook. Entry to the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology and Trekcetera Museums is included. Bring sturdy shoes (no strenuous hiking required), rain gear and your camera!
